A very weak de... moreit'll sell like hotcakes in 3rd world country because their people prefer phones in low to mid range, and Nokia is known to produce decent phone in their prime time(before 2010). with nokia quality + Android OS +consumer loyalty = what is not to like?

To test the market properly, it needed to be a little more powerful at least. Even a a 1gig ram and bit better chipset would have been a better and more excellent debut.

Makes no sense at all.
Rather than putting and underpowered android deive out there (running dalvik java and on top of it a nokia skin layer, it´s simply too much for a low end processor, certainly a few months and app updates down the line), they should buy bulk, take a chance and get the prices down on the Lumia 525 (or something very similar). And get some traction in the budget smartphone market that way.
Android just cant cut it with low end hardware, the way it's designed.
