I don't know what Motorola does to the Moto phones but even the G performs like a champion!

Am on the market for a new phone and I am using an Xperia T which was loaned to me for the time being. It might be midrange specs of 2 yrs ago but it performs very well - even by today's standard.

Anonymous, 29 Jan 2014This would be a fine mid-end.. 2 years ago. It's a phone th... moreyou clearly only care about the specs.
This phone performs perfectly for the normal user. Its faster than you think and has features current released phones dont even have (active display, flick camera, and touchless controls). You might say this phone is more advanced even, minus the processor and amoled screen.
Plus almost a year ago? This phone was released 5 months ago. Its a decent amount of time but no where near a whole year. In the states its 300$ unlocked off contracts. Its not obsolete at all. Sorry.

This would be a fine mid-end.. 2 years ago. It's a phone that was severely obsolete by launch, and now it's coming to Europe almost a year later. Funny Motorola.

I think everyone can agree that Motorola should have released this wordwide on launch and everything would have been fine.
Despite the low'ish specs, this phone still preforms well and ive order myself one. If it can replace my 5S i will be pleased. Time will tell.

I can't see the sense releasing the phone half year after it's started shipping in the US. Does Motorola takes us Europeans as fools? This is the technology of the yesteryear they want to sell us as a flagship device. Especially when you have other new flagships coming in a moment.

dull,mid spec disappiontment from moto.
would much rather see the LG f3q,(the new one for usa t-mob with slide out querty keyboard).
but we will probably only get the dull moto, who used to be one of my fave phones years ago, superb build quality and just a nice phone to use.

AnonD-228447, 28 Jan 2014I'll wait for the HTC Two/One/M8 instead of a 5-month old d... moreYou have to take the screen size into account before saying that 720p is not flagship material. Obviously a small screen does not not a 1080p display.

I think this is the best handset of 2013 the only thing if Google had sense that front facing speakers do make difference in sound

I am paralysed from the neck down so the advanced no-touch features are a huge draw for me, depending on their limitations.
I tend to avoid diving in when new technology comes to the market. Does anybody know if a comprehensive list of voice controllable functions can be found anywhere online?
Would also appreciate the information if anybody knows of upcoming releases with even more advanced voice recognition.

So Motorola thinks they can sell us the technology of the yesteryear as a flagship device?
