If i install amber update which is around 537 Mb, then the installed games and apps gets deleted or they remain in the phone ??

Hlo bro is yur phone asks for WiFi connection, when u go for update. Im failed to update my 520 becuz I hav 2g connection. Is there another way except WiFi to update it. Pls tell.
