30 January, 2014
The Lumia 520 got even more market share and the 625 is growing fast. 1020 and 1520 still out of the top 10.

Lumia 520 is the best low range phone. Lumia 525 will be the same.

oh yeah right,, i can say that lumia520 can beat the androids in the same range.. and i dont see lumia520 as a low end Wp8, and its a fast phone and amazing screen resolution,, for me morethan enough..

Then I just thought that Nokia won back to back in Gsmarena's Smartphone League. In the real world, the Nokia Lumias are losers. The total phones shipped for 2013 is even lower comparable to 2012. Well, congratulations anyway for winning the unimportant, insignificant, senseless competition that is the Smartphone league.

AnonD-134749, 31 Jan 2014Who cares about LTE. Now even low mid range phone have LTE.... moreOn the one hand you say "who cares" then you immediately follow it up by saying even midrange phones have it.

Besides your obviously contradictory statement, the comment was about low range phones like the 520 being the future, since it's clear you've forgotten.

Even in Finland the 1020 has flopped. Many commenters around here also been praising the 1020 so much yet noone is buying it, i wonder why? It did so well in the votes also but still noone wants it. Could it be because it simply is a bad phone with a bad OS? Yes it is, even the fanboys dont want one.

still rather have low end lumia than galaxy mini and xperia E - horrible little phones!

Having around 35 different phones (cheap and very expensive) since late 2000 I must say that Lumia 520 WP8 is the most balanced phone out there and I really enjoy using it. I've had iPhone, Android phone, however WP8 gives me the best user experience and next phone will be WP8 phone.

AnonD-1577, 31 Jan 2014This low-end trend for WP is not a bad thing at all... low-... moreI doubt that what you say will become true at least not in the near future, If you look at the attachment rate of WP it proves that most are lumia 520 users, and besides one can simply argue "my low-end phone performs just as well as yours so why would I bother to get a high-end one, besides I use it mostly for texts and calls not for taking pictures or anything else", if they don't give reason to pull the consumer towards high-end handsets then I don't see why the trend should change.

It is making a major dent to the low end market simply because Low end Android devices are a nightmare, to be honest. Anything that comes with less than 1 GB RAM and 4 GB storage is awful to use....
