I do not understand why you said flaky home button and bad processor for the samsung nexus sets, and why do you think nexus is a POC line! I think it's pretty awesome, but can only talk about galaxy nexus.

Honestly useless for premium customers.
1. Headphone audio quality is bad
2. Making loudspeaker holes bigger to get better volume level !!! That's just sad.
3. Screen contrast ratio is bad.
4. Sunlight legibility is bad.
5. Battery life : bad
6. Camera : bad. More not even taking about cam resolution.

Only software is good. Nexus line has always been a POC project.

Where is 64GB model ?

I only wish if Google could de lo ver a preium product (pure android ).

Yes there are Google versions of Samsung and HTC but they were faulty to begin with.
HTC : stupid kb layout, stupid cam.
Samsung : stupid processor versions. Flakey home button.

So only hope is HTC get its act right in its M8.
Samsung is a lost cause already... except the note line which it will destroy by going to 5.9" screen this year (tempted by htc one and X ultra)...

Very very tempting man...i had made up my mind to skip the N5 and focus on the 2014 flagships like HTC M8/One +, Samsung GS5, LG G3, Sony Xperia Z2 and maybe Moto X2. I will have to fight that urge and wait till the 2014 big guns show up.
