I hope they don't make s5 with bigger screen than 5 inch, why have s5 more than 5 inch when you have note3 or next genereation which is big enough if we want to have.

Well done Sammy introducing 32GB as base model lets see if Apple reply with iphone 6 minimum 32GB..Apple and it memory extortion pricing should have been made illegal ALL other companys give cheap memory increase choices with reasonable pricing..
Not long now to wait and Samsung must have something up its sleeve to blow us away,,camera/battery/screen upgrade etc is commonplace we need something mindblowing..

i will wait for s6 because this one is too ugly. i dontv buy a phone for a specs but for quality build. i will enjoy my iphone 5s which is the best in the world.

what's with these insane screen sizes now. the next years note and s6 will be the same. the new name will be samsung hybrid note 4,6. I'm impressed with sony coming out with z1 compact. it looks like midrangers are better these days becsause they are still "phones". and don't tell me about apple. They charge so much that I can buy 3 decent mid rangers or two top shots within that price. I live in India btw. check prices if you don't believe me. I can buy phones for my whole family for the price of one ishit.

Software buttons on the main screen are no use when a full screen app. crashes on top of them and you cannot get to them. At that point the only option is to reboot the phone. At least with a physical button I may be able to get back to the main screen and kill the crahsed app. from task manger without having to reboot the phone.

Faux-leather back = UGLY... I hope they don't do it. Also, 8 cores, 4GB RAM and HD radio would make this a potential upgrade for me from my S4 - otherwise, I'll likely stick with what I've got. Now if they could find a way to do a metal back without making the battery a lock-in.... that would be nice.

thoughts/remarks on the size:
- it won't be much larger than the S4 if they make like LG and shrink the bezels to minimum; LG G2 is already samsung S4 size roughly
- QHD needs a large screen to make a difference
- if people wanted a 1080p screen phone that runs decently they can just get the snapdragon based SGS4; S5 needs to differentiate itself
- high resolution comes better to its right on AMOLED, the high contrast makes details easier for the eye to resolve as does the broad color gamut
- if its pentile, the subpixel resolution and density are actually about where LCD FHD screens are today
