Anonymous, 08 Feb 2009a number of smart phones available from different manufactu... moreBut u dont only watch the videos on the phone. when u send the video to ur computer u will see it in full resolution. or if u use tv out u will be watching full hd. i think that samsung did well with the hd video recording. stand alone devices like ipods, digital cameras and so on is gonna be completely replaced by all in one devices like these.

Are we sure that Samsung has not bitten off more than it can chew? It is irresponsible for them to talk about HD camcording when they haven't even given us the screen res or the type of processor. Samsung should not take customers for fools. If camcording is 1280*720, it has to be matched by a screen that is 1280*720 pixels. If quality of video is good, coupled with SMOOTH playback and reliable standard phone features then and only then can we say that it is an astounding achievement. My advice to Samsung is to produce a high res screen with this device otherwise they will lose credibility.

i'm a nokia fan so what ....i know when i see somehing that is mostly to not really happen to state my point of view
and this phone is gonna be a bust
HD takes too much space,you need a REALLY powerful battery ,codecs...and you know much patching and updates this phone end up having XD and HD plays PROPERLY in a higher resolution and small screens don't have that

oh ,, HD Video record is really best but i think that: 16 GB is litle to save HD video so it needs more than 40GB hard disc hahaha ...

However, your complaints and ar... moreyes, i agree with you if i want to enjoy HD video every where so i must buy a phone with HD screen too but sadly there is no phone which use HD screen right now so i hope this i8910 use WVGA screen that is highest screen resolution nowdays.i dont mind if it only has WVGA cos it is better than WQVGA quality.i must buy this phone as long as it has WVGA screen.
For me, screen quality is an important thing, it makes the features like HD video and MP camera can be more enjoyable than nothing.
