honestly I don't know why this madness with bezel-free displays!personally,the wh=ay I see it,the less bezel a phone has,the more prone to BIG damage (as in display cracks) it is,cause the screen takes the whole shock.the way they are right now is ok,not too much,but not without.i think the manufacturers should keep a minimum bezel on smartphones for our sake.

Samsung and LG share patents because they owned by one family as for creativity they lead the way in copying they never start a trend the follow and steal

I know you're no that naive. It's survival of the smartest, you sell yourself as well as you can. Apple just creates things that ACTUALLY work as well as the hype they create. Sometimes they also fail, like Maps, but that's ok. Happens to the best of them.

Bezel free...:
1. Hard to find casing.
2. Easy to misclick.
3. Curve the phone will make sense now, as it will help with grip on a bezel-less phone. and improve the fingerprint scanning.
5.25 inch..:
1. Hope the fingerprint sensor is at the screen instead of buttons.. else omg.. every scan is gonna flip the phone. (small bezel + holding the button below)
- Copying apple by having it at home screen is a bad move! should be on the screen itself ! since the screen is bigger.

fyi, pantech released the fingerprint scanner ahead of apple. and pantech is partly owned by samsung.

Apple often takes an idea from something already existing, but lamely done, then rethinks it, makes it user-friendly and polished (in the process adding its own vision and innovation) and brings it to market.
And that's OK.

LOOOL few minutes of samsung's news and izombies already falling in line! if you think samsung is cheap then why waste time crying about it? I love htc but passed on htc one max last year for note 3 and surprisingly, I love it.
apple is for tablet and htc, sony, nokia and yes samsung are for smartphone.

Bezel-free display has been tipped for the past two generations of Galaxy S phones. I'm still not convinced it will happen this year.

Creates an unusual hype, sells for higher profits. At times, the features proclaimed by Apple are very miniscule or have been in use in another form for a long time.

I remember the rumours before GSIII came out. It was said to have liquid metal design, no bezels etc... However, consumers got another cheap plastic product (but with the best internals) with the crappy software.
