Instead of the embarrassement of a gross price-dump, they
offer this 'new' phone with a much lower price . . .
Let's hope so !
It's one of the most intelligent and sensible approaches to a moobile phone I have ever seen - which leaves only the price as the deciding factor.

I really couldn't care less if it's a total knock off of whatever.
Has to be the nicest looking one I have seen in a very long time.
Being able to work the screen if very comfey with a slider phone.
The only downside I see is that it is a Samsung so it is ever so inferior in the touch OS department.
If Sony Ericsson would make a phone like that it would be an ever so good, phone of the year.

M, 10 Feb 2009No wifi thats a bummer..Wi Fi is useless, who cares anyway? only using internet in the vicinity of a wi fi network? how ridiculously constrictive...use the dam computer thats hookeed up to the wi fi... 3g is far more useful for mobile internet anywhere.. get over lack of wi fi this is a pointless foible!

i have n96 but this phone is cool. I love touch screen.:D
Its more comfortable for me.i had an iphone but i broke it.I'm losser.

Sweet, love the design. But why do they always leave at least one thing out that will surely become a deal breaker? Samsung = Good Hardware SE= Good software Nokia= Average at both (On their feature phones I mean). What's wrong with it not having a smartphone OS?

The phone I always wanted, a keypad and touch screen. And it's a also a slider. PERFECT!! works for me cuz I have long nails, it's really hard to use touch screen to text when the nails are in the way.

Please samsung... keep the prices in the midrange not like the innov8 that is $550+.... I will be a proud owner... if that counts for anything... Sadly... I have a gut feeling I will be disappointed.

Nice but will be nice if use Touchscreen & QWERTY keyboard on Candybar design
