I currently use an Optimus G and I find it a bit too large.

The phone is dimensioned 115mm * 57.7 mm and 4.3 inch screen (assuming that it will have similar bezels with G2). Just did the math and the results are in the picture below:

my prediction for phones of 2016
          phablet- 7 inch+
          phone- 6-7 inch
          mini phone- 5.5 inch+
hope micro and nano midrange or flagship phones(4.3-4.5 inch) exist that time.

AnonD-225661, 13 Feb 2014No way it can be 4.7. If the dimensions are real in the pic... moreYou are assuming it is pictured beside the G2, but it is in fact the new Pro, with a 6 inch display. I think it is 4.7, it makes sense since that is the size of mini phones in Asia as of now.

I'm a galaxy S4 user, and going for the S5 (only if it will be the best among the other flagships!) And/but shame for LG now,and Samsung, HTC etc, in the future, if they will not follow the steps of Sony (with the high spec's for the mini/compact versions) because okay I always buy the galaxy S line, but as the mini version, Sony is the best! And so really compliments to Sony for the Xperia Z1 compact!!!

No way it can be 4.7. If the dimensions are real in the pic, then the mini has les then 11.5 cm height. The Moto x, for example, also has slim bezels, it has a 4.7' diagonal screen, but it is 12.9 cm tall. I'm telling u, it will sport a 4.3' inch screen.

Commenters & reviewers seem to always find fault Sony for small issues like screen to bezel ratio, or viewing angles & subpar camera performance. But at the end of the day? Sony is one of the few companies who constantly strive to produce an ALL-AROUND product.

Pick up nearly any Sony device & you'll find that it's a master of nothing. But a device of many things.
