didn't you know that sony is originally from Japan,and Toyota is originally a Japan made car..so how can you compare those two things differently and making fun of it,since they are both from the same country-Japan..?that's so very 'smart' of you to comment like that.

            U know why se use sagem facility recent time? Coz se must saving much money,and cutted 16.000 jobs worldwide..close some manufacturing plants..so se join with sagem to make some type of se phone..
            Last year a200 is the most advance java platform,but now lg and samsung has much2 java platform..samsung java also support multitasking,fast haptic feedback,customizable homescren n widgets,support flashlite 3,has office-pdf viewer,native app gps support,divx plugin,capable to rec video 30fps at vga or 120fps at qvga,shazam id
            While se a200 doesn't have..only media cntre,themes,multitasking,trackid,,no flashlite,no widget,nö office,no divx,limited at 30fps qvga
            So the facts is se nowhere in technology..
            LG also similar with samsung

              Yup...the facts is se can't make powerful handset..only tuned up a200 without any major improvement! G900 was the last uiq smartfone but can't compete at the market..hikaru is great phone from se line up,but still below n79,n85,i8510,n97,km900 even acme..
              Much se fans said s40,s60,samsung,lg,moto are boring,but a200 much2 boring..
              3.5mm this year too late,useless gps maps at a200 also se gimmick..
              Glory of se was k750/k800/w800,after 5mp race,music phone trend till now se always defeated coz..poor feature,poor design,poor quality,software gimmick,,etc..proven while q4 2008 se suffered major lost and uiq banktrupt and sony ceo dissapointed..se failed..

                  [deleted post]It's funny how you're concept of a Japanese phone is the X1, considering that the X1 has not and most probably will not ever be released in Japan. If you haven't realized yet, Japanese consumers mostly have different tastes compared with the rest of the world. For example, they mostly prefer clamshell phones cause the screen is protected, they don't necessarily want a big screen.

                    Yes, lets congratulate to SE - finally got the message. It took years and about a million post, but they got it.

                    Now, as far as smart phones - they were much faster. They realized I guess that Se is unable to make a decent smart phone.

                    Remember, the first pictures were Iphone like about Hikaru.

                    Now, we have another G900 fiasco.
                    Not smart, but probably also slow and unreliable overpriced outdated brick.

                            se waste to many money , they waste money to make smart os Symbian UIQ for global market but that smart os division is bankrupt because bad marketing division & now code from uiq use on s60 touchscreen LoL se is nothing now. se only good in japanese market look at se smartphone in japan they use bravia technology in middle market. 

for compare :

with $ 200-500 buy new se product u only got non smartphone look at other manufacture [Nokia , Samsung & LG] with $ 200 - 500 u have new smartphone.

                                  Seems se can't make advanced tech..due to low cash n money,low sell volume,internal inneficient..sucking sony corp brand n money,but se can't reach success,bottomed rank,doubt future,spliting up issue,bankruptcy issue..their walkman/cybrsht flagship very2 pøor..just software/hardware cosmetics..
                                  Build quality terrible..
                                  Always behind other coz like no other..
                                  Fake performance..much of software gimmick..SE goes banktruptcy..just wait till end of 2009..se are dying now..
