wow just 110 bucks. that converts to around 6800 INR. Awesome price for such specs. This is really made to sell. Hopefully they have enough stock coz this is gonna go like the moto g recently did. just 15 minutes and out of stock for the 16 gb version. Who cares about google services. I only use gtalk and gmail btw. gmail can be accessed easily on the built in email app and as for gtalk, I'm sure the developers will have something. btw most people will root it after their warranty expires. and if you have a nice midranger or a high ranger then this can be your second phone. What say guys?

Quite clever, Nokia don`t knows if their Android will succeed so they launch a low spec device first xD

A poor choice to start with
No play store support would simply mean u cant update ur apps coz ne developer simply prefers to with play store
        Nd 512,ram is very poor

Nokia has no idea about android. It cannot beat others even if it came with mainstream android.

This is the beginning. A test drive. Nokia is starting from scratch with Android. Normandy will be used as a data collector, for the upcoming Nokia Android flagship devices.

Anonymous, 14 Feb 2014I like it, i don't want Play store or anything from Google,... moreExactly. And, Nokia Store has way better quality control than Google Play. Just ask ex-developers for Symbian. They won't let too much garbage in.

"the Normandy will supposedly not be able to access Google Play" doesn't matter because someone will find a way to run other .apk apps

DeViBos, 14 Feb 2014What the flip. Not able to run Play Store. Leave it to Noki... moreI like it, i don't want Play store or anything from Google, there are many phones out there with Android, i don't see the point of complaining that this phone does not have Play store, if you don't like don't buy.

k man. i can be sure that nokia/ms is trying hard to capture low end market. as it is where the BULK OF sold phones are. its a quit good tactic.

Doesn't matter if it has play store or not. Still you will be able to install apk from file manager. At last Nokia is going to earn some money.

Give 10 days to the cygnomod ppl and it will be completely rooted :P
And .apk files can be loaded if its running the Android os
