oh well only 615 is quadcore well again i guess qualcomm did it to say " we got that too kid! "

Anonymous, 24 Feb 2014Which is a disappointment. Should have had 805.When they manufactured the Z2 S805 was not released yet ... even in the S5 probably you won't see it
maybe we will see it in the xperia z2 ultra few months from now

AnonD-77292, 24 Feb 2014I hope the next Nexus will have 64Bit CPU (if there will be... moreFret not my Android brethren...despite the rumors i am sure the Nexus line isn't going anywhere. If this comes to pass, it will be a ball-less move by Google to cave to any OEM as the rumors might suggest. Despite the presence of GPe edition devices...a Nexus device will push Android in the direction Google wants it to go not ideas from OEMs skins.

AnonD-169727, 24 Feb 2014Unfortunately, Sony doesn't have a magical hat where it can... moreI realize that. For me, it would make more sense to release a Z2 with 805 in 3-4 months time rather than release it now running the 801. What I would like to see also is 1080p recording @ 120fps =)

And where is the cortex a57 ? All i see now is chipsets with minor performance improvment.

What we really need, especially from a handset perspective, is not so much 64-bit code, but rather a drop in the manufacturing process from the current 28nm. Cooler running CPUs that use less power but crunches more numbers at the same time. Intel already has 14nm processors on their road map for this year. Surely Qualcomm makes enough money for them to step up in this regard.
