No way ....Compare the BB Z30 to the iPhone 5s specs wise BB Z30 blows it away....iPhone 5s doesnt even have NFC...Expandable Memory....Limited Bluetooth Connectivity....not even 720p Display.....poor battery life....1gb ram....dual core 1.3 ghz.....very very restricted os....cant transfer music or videos without itunes.....poor keyboard.......So you tell me how is BB behind in terms of specs to even the mighty iPhone...Specs sell to some degree but it boils down to marketing and making yourself different from the competition if BB focus on Mobile computing they will be fine and if not better than most of the competition...they own QNX....BBM....BES....they have the ingredients John Chen will stir it up and make the perfect Blackberry that will come soon ...Blackberry no longer just makes phones they are 4 divisions....Device...BBM....BES....QNX.....

Gen_el, 26 Feb 2014Frankly, you sound like you have not used a BB10 recently. ... moreCould you point to one BB device that can compete with the likes of the Nokia 1320 or 1520, Samsung Galaxy S4, forget the S5 for now, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 or the iPhone 5s\c. Even their latest device is a mid-range "play catchup" device. Granted, this is reflected in the price but at the end of the day they need devices that can compete on an equal footing and to match the top players you need top spec devices and this is soemthing BB are still not doing. They need devcies for each market segment and this they are not doing. The Z10 whilst a huge improvement over the past was still somewhat behind the big players in the market. this was reflected in both its price and ultiamte sales figures.

I was surprised by the stability, efficiency and rock solid performance of the OS. I actually hated BBs. But on using Z10, i was amazed. Amazed BB10 beats Android and iOS hands down in performance. And i am not your average user. I am a power user. I have used and use Android and used iOS.
Please, ignore those wannabe tech blogs that only recycle reviews and not actually review the devices.
Use it, before you condemn. Honestly, Blackberry did a great job with BB10 OS!

Blackberry is now like a chinese brand. But bb phones today it's worse and pricely than ZTE and Lenovo. Shame on you, Blackberry !

Now I'm sure that very soon Blackberry will die. If Z3 will be the cheaper Bb10, that means more week than Z 10 that is lamentable...and, the most important for the core of Bb fans, Z 20 is by only at on superficial sight the thing than fans will waiting for, because on these speciffications, that phone will be disgratiosly big, without any ideea of confort given by an bb 9700 or 9780. The idea that bb z20 will have touchscreen is not a good one. And the os bb10 on that tipe of phone will be the most inspirated that ca-n be. Bb os 7.1 is most adequate for a that type of phone. I think new president of BB don't understand the psychology of bb phone user, same situations and for Thorsten. Heins. Bb can't understand the needs of today bb fans !!!

Personally my faith is now strengthened with this latest addition from BB. It is my well considered opinion that for a company that is facing such difficult times, one of the best ways to come out of it, is to produce good mid range and low range phones at affordable prices. Then their support should be enhanced, once BB sells more phones, then it can gradually inch its way up to high end ones, all the while expanding the low to mid rangers. In a world now dominated by Android, IOS and now W8P, it would be a good thing to have BB return and give us what we've always trusted, a good and solid platform.

BlackBerry Z3 is amazing given the price. The phone definitely looks better than any Samsung Galaxies. For $200, this phone is a hit in most emerging markets. The new CEO understands business. BB is back on track finally.

Been an ardent user of bb for yrs, problem with BB May not necessarily be the track pad for traditional users, but the very poor quality of their cameras relative to iPhones and samsung. Having this makes it a better tool, and phones are now tools!

exciting, now when the new flagship bb will arrive, i will have the z2 and the bb, whilst i could give to my wife my z1 and q10, then she could give her xperia z to our first son, then my 1st son htc one would go to my second son, then my second son, samsung s4 would go to my youngest son, then my youngest lg g2 would go to our dog, and our dogs' iphone5s would go the trash bin.

increase you choice of apps by downloading Amazon market. also the Z3 is at a great price but the Z10 in some markets is even cheaper. what about a q3? also the q3 looks very nokia N8 except the range of colours.
