Sadly the screen is slightly bigger than blackberry z10. it won't make z10 users happy, but there was good move from blackberry to hit back samsung, iphone and nokia sales in emerging markets especially Indonesia.

Say what, the Z3 definitely looks better than any Samsung Galaxy phones. Given the price, this phone is a hit if launched in most emerging markets. The specs are good and the phone is a looker. If the Z3 can run Android apps then this phone is mine.

Good to see prices of mid range phones coming down.. Healthy competition is always welcome.. Nokia X 5 incher at 110euro and Blackberry at less than 200 eur Moto G at 179 euro.. Its time the premium smartphones come down to 350 euro mark.. Like the nexus 4 and Moto X..

I was hoping that they'd release one like the Q10 except with better specs and a screen that wasn't a square. Now they make one with a trackpad and I'm not sure whether I want to go back to that. Hopefully they do manage to release a high-end device with a QWERTY keypad. I guess I'll have to wait once again.

This seems like the perfect BB10 phone to take on Xperia Z and Galaxy Grand in Asia.

Anybody put off BlackBerry old phones should try bb10, smooth, fast, can install amazon app store and apk you want, easy to use. I'm personally a very happy q5 user, who used to only buy android.

With specs that lacklustre there us hardly any point in Blackberry releasing this handset but does explain why they are on their way out.

Wish come true! This news from MWC has made me most happy followed by Nokia doing android trick. The way BB is going no sooner it wud be back to top ranks. Extremely delighted Mr Chen with the news about these 2 devices. Nothing beats BB when it comes to emails. I have used Note 1 and Note 2, Lumia 1520 even Z10 but cant get even 10% of of my Bold series phones. Even z10 is amazing device. I miss it. Want to go for q10 and then q20 when its available. Cheers to Mr Chen and BB!

Me and my family were ardent bb users wat i was realy dispointed was when i bought the q10, when you type your reply or compose text the screen only show 2 lines of txt unlike 9790 and even 9220 i can have 6 lines of text and adjustable font size style.secondly i have take days to consult and practise on how to attach contacts and msg. The only credit it reserve is the keypad is superd. Mr Chen you should listen more from the asian users whom use txt more ofen then email. Bring back the trackpad is a sensible move.

mir, 25 Feb 2014The Z3 is at least a looker. The S5 is an eyesore. You are absolutely right, I can't agree more with that. The Z3 looks very good, I'd like to see more pics of that device.

Wow, happy to hear that it will launch in Indonesia. My old Blackberry Davis need some upgrade.

The question is now apps, can Blackberry improves the amount of apps in its store too ? I don't want to bring two phones (bb & android) everywhere just because some apps are exclusive to either platform.
