Not a world wide launch for the nokia android phone. And you can see why they are going down the pan. And to think I wouldn't buy anything but nokia at one time.:-(

I'... moreNewsflash: Everyone who wants a flagship already has a flagship, it's the entry-level phone market that remains untapped and represents a very large number of phone sales (in fact, the "non-flagships" are the vast majority of phone sales).

If you need a hint, look closer at Nokia 520 and understand how just one "low-cost" device pretty much single-handily redefined Windows Phone as a success story (when otherwise it would be nothing other than a miserable failure -- like all past iterations).

I'... moreOf course it does, it is after all a google project deliberately sold at a loss to push Android and google services as far and wide as possible with each incarnation. But it does not sell for £100/€100/$100 like these Nokia phones do.

Right decision! No point to spend millions on marketing where everybody wants only iPhone or Galaxy (whatever the model. Bloggers don't like Nokia too (despite the interest this company brings), so we can't expect unbiased approach towards Nokia's products. its like trying to conquer a castle (USA) when all land (rest of the world) belongs to them already.

It should be available in Mexico, as every phone exclusive to Latin America is always launched here (It looks like when its about business and enterprises, North America is considered to be only the anglo-saxon countries, US & Canada). Nokia has a great market, if they launch the X phones here in Mexico, they will sell them like tacos :P
