A similar Snapdragon 400 CPU (MSM8228) only get 17000 in Antutu, I doubt it would get than if both the CPU and the GPU were better than MT6592 (which can get over 32000 points at 2 GHz).
The other statements is just unrestricted HTC fanboying... I forgot that the 816 also will have less screen estate because of the soft buttons as well.

DaXiong, 28 Feb 2014Huawei Honor 3X is better (Twice the performance going by A... moreHuawei 3x has mediate cpu and it's weak against QUALCOMM snapdragon chip in same range. and adreno 305 in desire 816 is faster and gets higher score vs mali 450(not mp4 or mp6 classes).{{adreno 305 is 450Mhz with snap 400 and mali 450 is 375 Mhz}}.so htc desire 816 has better cpu and gpu and you have to know that htc sense works better and 1.5g of ram for sense UI is better than 2g ram with other android brands.sense is the best UI and desire has better design,boomsound and body quality like all htc gadgets.i hope that could to remind you to the fact. your devoted friend.
