Sony Xperia M2 pricing details revealed in Netherlands

Expensive indeed! I was expecting a 200 maybe 230 euro price but this is just outrageous. At just over 300 euro i can buy Xperia Z or Zr that are much better then this mediocre phone. Another bad point for Sony is that they release upgrades full of bugs, my girlfriend has the Xperia Xp, just upgraded to 4.3 and the device is a mess, this is happening to almoust all of Sp users. So I am sorry for Sony because it has the look and premium feel but with high prices and bad upgrades I think that I am forced to go elswere, at least for the midrange class because the flagship Z2 is a masterpices.

It seems Sony intends to make Xperia lineup works like the Vaio lineup in laptop market, slightly premium looks but overpriced....

They are mad ! Wtf ... qHD on 4.8" in 2014 ! This is really mad ! The price can be beaten ! NExus 4 is on top this and is cheaper ! Shame Sony ! Xperia SP is better performance , bigger battery and cheaper also - what`s the catch ?!

Too much hype for the target price of €200, that now it's just not worth it. No way I would pay nearly €300 for that.

at this price point this piece is gonna suffer a sure death that is very low sales,why dont these sony guys have a grip on the pricing of their mobile products, I am not saying anything about their consoles,nothing personal against sony,they make great products,but u consider todays scenario or atleast compare with moto x or moto g.

Moto x is much better than this at the same price point. Atleast motorola provides much much faster updates than the sony. It still runs jb and mid range moto g kk. Shame on you sony
