My Fkex from AT&T has 4k already enabled from an update and it's still running 4.2.2 The sprint version is also mid way through the update to get them. Hilariously, the international ones on the forums do not have it enabled yet

i would have bought this phone in a heartbeat ONLY if it had a microsd card slot... i don't know why anyone would be stupid enough to not give us upgraded storage on bigger devices as movie watching would be a big purpose for such a device...

OnT: most G Flex already have 4K, only a few carries missing it for some reason.

They better put this ability on the kitkat update for the G2. Pretty bad logic if you favor your niche device instead of the flagship.

I don´t understand. My LG G Flex with Android 4.2.2 already has support for UHD 2160p recording. It is an unlocked european model.

In Estonia it costs (starting from) 699€ from two of the biggest carriers:
                                  https://www.emt.ee/en/sisu/-/pood/nutitelefonid/lg_g_flex
                                  https://www.elisa.ee/et/Eraklient/Pood/p/lg/d955-g-flex
No binding contract, but the buyer needs to already have a contract. Like if I had a contract with EMT and a friend asked me to buy it for him, I could and there would be no further obligations for me or my friend.
