Apple are the biggest swindlers of all time. They build great product that will last forever and they sell it as such then decide to stop supporting operating systems. The time is coming when this practice will be regulated by collective government's imposing guidance on them and any businesses using their business model.

AnonD-8044, 05 Mar 2014We know how Apple makes its profit by ripping off customers... moreYes, there are such examples where apple costs more than it is worth. But,there products are using the best quality components. But prices are not as expected and so they dont have competition in few major markets. Where , Nokia use to cover all the markets when they offered there quality products(they still do) but at very proper price tag.
But this was just a suggestion how they may handle there further managment for future. No doubt, taking the financial aspects as an important matter is needed.

To... moreWe know how Apple makes its profit by ripping off customers with ultra expensive memory upgrades in iphone and expensive computers..Just because a MacBook pro is made of aluminium does not equate to expensive it costs then few quids worth of aluminium,,plus internals like core i5 etc is used in Windows comps but they don't charge massive amounts of cash..

        - some widgets or at least option to have dynamic icons like calendar
        - fingerprint scanner calibrated for different environment humidity circumstances
        - Photo library improved application with the ability to add photos (related to mass storage mode)
        - camera resolution settings (at least 16:9 in picture mode and 720p option)

When Edison/Tesla kicked the bucket, did the light bulb and electricity stopped innovating??

Sure there is loss in talent in those fields of work.. but that does not mean anything is sinking!

The only thing sinking is your fanboi brain!

THE company should now Pay Peter Oppenheimer,CFO apple'. To arrange broadcasting throughout apple's employees and top employees of apple to share his total exprience since he has been given this responsibility and his post as a CFO. To explain how he pushed the revenue up since he started. To explain employees how to think and what should be taken important during new innovations. To make it a perfect and unique innovative product. Daily based broadcasting should be held among the apple's Team of employees. And apple should pay him properly for such final support from his side and from company's side. May be doing few braodcasting.. events based on there old strategies apple can maintain there level in coming future. AS we know after Steve Jobs, work of Tim Cook have been a bit of disappointment. No doubt,he is progressing ahead slowly now. But this is what the old staff of apple should be given chance of sharing there knowledge to every apple's employee to keep there company up to there higher levels. Not only this CFO, but all the senior employees who are about to retire should be given such a chance to help maintain there company.

Oh trust, this is definitely not "good". In the the corporate world, "Where there's smoke, there's fire". Acquisitions, mergers, hostile takeovers & constant changes of management usually signifies something is about to go down. Whether that be because the CEO knows something the public doesn't, or maybe Apple is seein' an "oh so subtle" decline in numbers not yet seen by market share? Who knows? But inconsistency in the running of a multi billion dollar company can never be tooken lightly.
