Nokia is wise to focus on the value of integrating a camera module into a connected device rather than simply attempting to equal or outdo a dedicated digital camera, whose sensors will inevitable give it the edge. The N86 will sell incredibly well.

It still only has an LED flash which will make night time shooting extremely poor compared to the C905 or even the K800i... Nokia really need to wake up in that aspect...

i wish nokia would stop designing their high end phones with moving parts (sliding or clamshell) because their moving mechanism almost always ruin the phone, it is usually the first thing that gets destroyed in less than a years time

For Eg i had the Lg viewty 5mp My friend the iphone (not even the 3G) on screen the iphone booted the viewty out 10 fold WHY because of the screen and sw for rendering the pics. I know its great there is a 12mp SE and N97 for everything in one device but how many people actually print massive pics not manny plus if your going to show off your snaps you want a lovely screen to do so. I loved the N95 8GB only down side was the build quality and the metal fascia scratched easily. And if your anything like me you will clad your phone in screen protectors and cases to protect the lovely screen beneth but look Nokia has given you a cracking display to show off your nicly rendered pics covered in a scratch resistant glass ideal. also NORMAL buttons fantstic because how many paople can say they can text email or dial without looking on a touch screen or the hiddious nokia N96 keys. I want a phone that takes good pictures that i can show off when im out on the screen text without the continuous use of the C key and preferably which i dont need to be stationary to look at while doing so and i want one that has a brilliant quality feel to it unlike the N96 this ticks all the boxes. I hope this kind of outlines my view on why this is a really nice handset obviously not for all though.

well... i don't get nokia's philosophy.
8 megapixels, nothing new besides. they should have included this 8mp camera on n97 instead, way more productive. pointless. i'm recently dissapointed in nokia =\

So here we are! Nokia has responded to the challenge of SE, Samsung and LG. And we must conclude that Nokia`s response is PATHETIC!
When all the major manufacturers are bringing out beautiful touch screen high-end phones, Nokia is introducing the same 2 year old design in the well known low quality plastic build. Looks like Nokia is really loosing the race. They were so relaxed with their market share that they forget to invest in innovation and improvement.
This will cause Nokia its first place in mobile manufacturing. Today even loyal fans are considering abandoning their favorite brand and moving to new and exciting adventures with Samsung and SE.
Looks like what everybody is seeing its really true – Nokia is going down!

I hope this one is better then any other phone because
camera lens apperture is larger then any other (current)
its not the race of mega pixel
its all about result samsung innov8 is batter then c905 both have same magapxl
so result have more importance then magapxl
i am also a biggest fan of nokia and i relly disappointed when i see n86
no 3.5inch display
no hd video rec
no s60 5th ed
no qwerty
i hope that spec r not true
