I have to congratulate Intel on their effort to create something innovative for Tizen, but if they wan't this UI to become a seccess story they have to work harder. It still looks very ugly

The video is a fake. Last year Tizen prototype had a totaly diferent body shape.

turn it 45 degrees ; that`s their way into the market ; such an original idea won`t go unmarked in history! absolutely humiliating! I was expecting sth new like metro , even better

If it would look as on screens it would be great. This icons are cool and noone did something like that before. Square = Apple, Bulging square = Nokia, Circle = Google+. Diamond? Noone.

Our preference for orthogonality is a result of growing up in an environment with a lot of horizontals and verticals. It is technically much easier to design a display which is rectangular, and this packs rectangular icons more efficiently, but in fact we manage perfectly well with a roughly circular field of view from our eyes, and people who have grown up in non-linear environments (such as some African societies) need a learning process to interpret our Western rectangular world.

Lol after seeing the UI. Definitely looks like made for kids. Gross, perhaps the ugliest, unimpressive and uninspiring
UI ever seen! This OS is doomed to be a failure.

Thered a reason why all the iperating systems to date use rectangular grids and icons: our brains are hard wired to operate in an ortgonal environment,....this is why this is the most stupid ui you can come up with, probably the brainchilt of a lousy designer and dumb, ignorant ceo.

It is called BlackBerry 10 OS ... And not BlackBerry OS 10.
When you say BlackBerry OS, you will be referring to the BBOS of the Legacy devices ...
