I love how people fight on cameras on phone these days rather on the phone it self. For an android super zoom, get a nexus 4 with a $250-$350 point and shoot camera which would be more pleasing and cheaper than getting an s4-5 zoom. Some point and shoots can send pics to phones without wifi.

a comparison video on youtube shows xperia Z2 have better display than note 3..... ips lcd with triluminos & live colour led + x reality makes Z2 display best screen to the date....
while amoled display is known for vivid and wide viewing angles.but Z2 display is having more vivid colour & better viewing angles than note 3.....not saying note 3 has bad screen.its best among the other amoleds but Z2 has a superior display.
the video comparison is not done in english but can see the note 3 screen look washed out at extreme angles against vivid ips lcd of Z2.moreover colours are also more accurate on Z2.

Everything else on it outdated and hardly anything new. Moto G has more going for it to be taken seriously than some HTC rehash that isn't worth half the their asking price.

Sony Z2 seems more likely to take accolades given S5's problems and poor showing.

The sensor's not the problem, it's the lens assembly they're struggling with. And I'm not surprised they are either; when Nokia asked Carl Zeiss to make a 6 element lens they had to come up with a new way of building and aligning the stack and Zeiss are perhaps the best leans makers in the world, so it's no surprise that Samsung are struggling to follow suit.

Back to business, Samsung is under the massive pressure than any company, no wonder why they do swift things. After the launch of IPhone 5s the next day Samsung said, they're going for 64 bit. They release phones after phones. what does that tells you? The lens in their s5 it's a mess, because Z2 & M8 have spread like HIV. HTC for life no matter what

Yeah it's a typical business strategy for Samsung to make changes on camera quality for their Galaxy S5 model. I too would like to switch to HTC One 2014 model. This phone has good specs.

They are going to quietly change the camera to an inferior version and launch this instead in other markets. Be careful. Typical Samsung tactic.

However hopefully HTC can build on the success of the One and M8. Youre also not accounting for how long it takes to release the M8.
