AnonD-151727, 21 Mar 2014It was better...not anymoreNope. That's the sad part. It never was. The original scam phone was no more than a large I pod that had call and text function...mostly. Lacked 3G, MMS, in browsing, no camera flash, no video recording, and so many things it still lacks or is just gaining now.
The 4 was the first and only decent upgrade.

And some things are not supposed to be awarded patents like the way your tables line up in a store like they would in a garage sale...And have in garage sales and malls for years.....But these patent places are buffoons and almost ready to grant that to apple.

gam30toronto, 21 Mar 2014let me see. Samsung made a GOLD S4 right after iphone 5S go... moreSo Samsung copies Apple for using rectangle and gold color. Things Apple did not do first. And that Samsung used before Apple did.
They use Touch ID which Apple was like third to use.
Somehow according to the hive mind that's extreme copying.

Apple goes after advanced pen functions which only Samsung has done for mobiles and was working on advancing...

But according to most that is not copying...LOL!!!

Apple copy of S Pen and Wacom? Oh my god, you people are really stupid.

Stylus isn't patented, and I don't see any of the features of this Apple patent on the S Pen.

This goes to show how pathetic of a patent troll Apple is. While they claim stylus doesn't belong on a phone they go steal and patent Samsung Note idea to eventually kill the competition with litigation.

To this day people can still have the guts to say that Who copied who. Don't give us this BS anymore. At the end of the day you patent it you win. This article is a good example of it. If you don't patent it, it is common knowledge. So don't give me oh Apple copied touchscreen technology, apple copied bar phone apple copied this and that. Just like any other business, whether it be car, clothing etc. they all make similar products. so grow up on the copying. The point is, apple made A PHONE better. Period.

Samsung did not invent stylus! That's everyone should know. But, Samsung did implement some features on their own version of stylus and patent those features. Now I'm fascinated why most comment here saying Apple copied Samsung, but in fact they are just patenting features that they made for their own stylus.

they sue people for copying, like as if they are the only ones with original ideas. but in the end they cant resist copying other people's brilliant idea. and they ask those same people to mass produce important parts of their products. that will directly compete with samsung's products.

Apple is a King of Copycat and King of Patent (no matter the Patent belongs to other company). Wacom (may helped by Samsung) has to sue Apple for this idiotic patent. Shame on you, Apple!

Funny thing is that it will be so much better than a Wacom, when i bought Note 2 everyone kept saying the Wacom was so much more accurate than on Note 1, surprising then when i found the Wacom on the Note 2 wasnt very accurate at all, and it wasnt a problem specific to my unit, it just sucked as much as a Sammy vacuum cleaner.
