I think 4.5 inches is the sweet spot for screens and one hand usability I can reach the edges of my phone's screen perfectly (Lumia1020) and that's a huge advantage..

yes indeed, the best screen size is 4.3-4.5". your finger can still reach from top to bottom in one go

I like the 5 inch Lumia Icon. The size is just right.

I think we all agree that since the 930 will be the new flagship then it will have a full hd screen. Fitting a 4.5" inch screen with that resolution will be as meaningless as it is a waste of resources. Therefore, IMHO, I think the new flagship should have a bigger screen. People don't want bigger phones, they want bigger screens, and the two don't always have to coincide.

Szumi, 21 Mar 2014What is meant by "a GSM version of the Lumia Icon"?Probably not-Verizon. I think it uses some other network or something. Or not, I don't know. But definitely non-exclusive, globally available variant of Icon.

The screen shouldn't be more than 4.5inch. This today's trend of bigger and bigger screens is stupid. I agree screen should be big but it shouldn't be huge. For all of you who thinks different: Have you ever had 5inch device, or 4.5 inch? It's a relief to have smaller screen after 5inch believe me. And who wants 5inch - take Lumia Icon.

why downscale the screen, the lumia icon is almost as big as the the current 900 series lumias that have a much smaller screen. Fitting a bigger screen to the same chassis is a win-win situation IMO
