I think, Nokia Should work with dual OS Windows and android...... windows has no desktop or animated themes... or Full android support in windows which is about to be impossible... so Dual OS should be released... otherwise Nokia is no more stable... now it will become Microsoft , not Nokia...

    Octal Core processor,
    8gb Ram,
    memory 128Gb internal
50 MP or even more MP with dual Xenon flashes fat one and a thin one, four LED flashes
four sound output... with DTS supported sound quality Digital sound enhancer
    5" LED TFT display 1920x1080
    Dual sim standby

Pro camera, Camera FX, Refocus, photo creativity, panorama, 10lens, pureview and so on... the maximum Specifications in one device

Model Can be As N9... flat backside... may be a slight weighty... but it can be popular all over the world... Nokia can gain there position... Nothing else can come close quickly...

    Model : Nokia N10

    price: $1000

It is a maximum configuration according my opinion... but there has less in other models... This will be the highest..can be a history.... black, white, long lasting battery... if they work and think over my idea, they can far away from other mobile brands...... it may come in light after one year by 2015 or early 2016...

APL Panvoy, 24 Mar 2014Kill the Lumia and Asha name and start fresh.. No camera b... moreCamera bumps are awesome and necessary if you want to add a large sensor (1/1.5") with lots of MP, a xenon flash and OIS. It makes the phone look nicer and unique. Xperia Z1 may have a 20 MP camera and no bump but that's because its sensor is smaller at around 1/2.3". If they don't have a camera bump then the phone will be very thick.

I love Android and I am afraid of moving to WP because of how unattractive it looks. I dislike the thick black borders around buttons, the black and white themes in the menu and most apps that are dull without colors.

My wife has had a WP phone since 2011 so I have experienced it for 3 years now. She also prefers my Android phones. I do, however, love Windows 8.1 and I think it looks great!

Now my point is to say that I wish WP would look like its desktop version, with plenty of colors and nicer design. Windows Tablets are awesome. Phones are lacking though. Hopefully MS will improve its UI after the upcoming WP 8.1 version. I really want to buy a Nokia phone to have an awesome camera like the 808. Nokia Belle is still way better than WP, in my opinion. I wish Nokia did not kill Symbian :(, they could have made awesome phones with much better hardware than what the 808 had.

souljahblay, 24 Mar 2014i wonder if windows os can actually can do the same as wind... moreNo, Windows Phone OS is pretty far from desktop PC. For one you can't have file manager on WP.
Android is the most closest equivalent of desktop OS.

AnonD-208835, 24 Mar 2014windows phone OS will be no. 1 , if all android application... moreAndroid dev making apps for WP ? That's hard to do, seriously.

First, develop for WP is not cheap. Check WP8 SDK requirement. You need at least a high end PC plus expensive license for Windows 8 64-bit. 4 GB RAM, 64-bit (x64) CPU.
That's not including the cost for Visual Studio IDE and yearly MS developer account.

Compare that with Android that can be build using Linux or cheap WinXP machine. And you only need to pay one-time fee for publishing app in Play Store.

Last, WP use DirectX, while all other smartphones out there (Android, iOS, Blackberry, Symbian, etc) use OpenGL. This difference is very important if you develop games. You can't easily port OpenGL games to DirectX.

Sure you can use Unity 4 and Visual Studio Express. But it's really not worth the effort. If you have money to spend, it's more logical to develop games for iOS than WP.

Why is it that people think that Nokia would do better with Android instead of Windows OS? The fact is people will still buy Samsung, HTC, Sony etc over Nokia regardless of the OS.

remember nokia was able to create android phone because they are not locked on just using windows OS phone, but now microsoft aquire nokia. they will only create windows phone

Why do they go for their rival OS platform like linux/Android etc? Microsoft will continue to develop its OS like in these days. They gonna release 8.1, sooner Lumia 8.5 update. And they are developing windows 9 platform which comes as a mobile OS after PC version.

I hope Microsoft will get the best out of Nokia's acquisition. Up the ante on Nokia's flagship phones in the camera department (Lumia 1020) and the phablet department (Lumia 1520) and everything in between.
