I'm concerned about the wrap around aluminium edges. They remind me of the edges on my Inspire. These where made of thin aluminum and easily dented. The back of the original One was much thicker than the Inspire. There is no way to tell what gauge metal is used on the M8 until someone dissects it for us. I'd rather have a polycarbonate(ie.lexan/bulletproof glass)edge so I don't have to put a case on it.

antonioli, 25 Mar 20145", more metal, more powerful, interesting front camer... moreI think they did pretty good with battery and optimization but yes camera should be higher pixel then all complaints about HTC ONE have gone. well I've butterfly s have 3200 but that is plastic and which is light but this is metal having same battery size would have made it even heavier. but all reviews says battery is pretty amazing compare to size.

but
Ultrabezels, 4MP rear camera, low capacity battery..
Why didn't them put an effort to minimize the bezels, put a +3000mAh battery and at least put a 8MP camera?

one- 2gb DDR2 RAM.
DDR2 is a old tech considering samsung has already launched 4gb DDR4 ram(50% increase over DDR3 ram) at ces 2014 and will be available for devices in 2H 2014.....
what the hell is htc doing????

What i can see is that the spec race has nearly come to an end . Now, the new formula for success in smart phone business is the PRICEPONT . And that is what google, motorola , lenovo , gionee, one plus , xiaomi are after. They are going to be the next market leaders

They still uses stupid Non-removable battery, which you can't change and added a few software tricks that was on samsung's ages ago. There will be no updates as always, stupid hardware bugs (like on One X) so the phone will land on warranty, locked bootloader. And if they kindly release some new firmware it will introduce full of new bugs. No thanks HTC, i stick with sammsung ;)
