Yea I want to believe that will be great,my problem is only if in optimus who are about one year phone can. Handed the kitkat,that I want to say is I hope to not create new problems in the phone system....
We khow when it comes the new update???

I would be excite for the KitKat if this is true, but I should know first that the KitKat is available for Optimus G E975 or not.

The source says that the upgrade is for the SFR variant. What about the international version? Can we trust this news at all? :|

This better be true!!! You know that there was one time a carrier claimed their LG Optimus G will get an update to KitKat right? I hope that the source is not misunderstanding again!!!

Top-notch build quality, amazing screen (AMOLED is not my thing, thank you very much), no lag at all, this phone with stock ROM can handle pretty much anything you throw at it. I could complain about the camera (my old S2 took better pictures), but it's still good enough to be happy with this device. I would be glad to get the KK update, as it promises to make this puppy even better, but frankly, I don't care much about versions, as long as what I have serves my needs. And I don't need to brag or prove anything to anybody, I am just glad to be using a great solid phone... :)

So...? S3 is still slower than Optimus G on 4.1 . HALF of the ram , worse cpu and gpu. I had the chance to fully test both side by side. Samsung's lagwiz is incredibly slow. Some time while opening both dialers at the same time, s3 would spend up to 10 seconds more. Many of my friends had a s3 with suddend death too.
So.. congratulations on the bad choice! If a number is more important than performance for you.. congratz

You know why LG have not got a lot of updates? Because it's a fantastic ROM in performance and goodies!
I don't regret to have LG phone compared to the crappy Samsung...
