BB 10 is failing not because it's bad, but just because it's too little too late.

Had BB came out with 10 (and the Z10, or something like it) in 2009 or 2010 at the latest things may have gone very differently, and possibly much more positively for the company.

However, the reality is it got delayed and postponed and finally made its way to market late January 2013, some 5 years after Apple shipped the first iPhone and 4 years after HTC shipped the first android phone.

i recently discovered the power and practicality of BB10. and i am not going back to android or ios. bb10 is easily the best and most user friendly user interfsce that i have come across. blame the negative publicity of people and bad publicity by blackberry itself. i have used, nokia symbian, nokia lumia, samsung, apple, lenovo, htc. believe me guys blackberry with bb10 is the cream..go for it..

Just because there is lesser Apps in BB store, people are not giving enough attention to BB10 devices, otherwise BB Z10 is really nice device. It runs smoothly like iPhone.

Do not understand why such a smooth BB10 OS is failing. I have used iPhones and Samsungs,
recently started using BB Z10. It is the best phone I have ever used. It is like I do not want to go back to Apple or Android world. After 10.2.1 update it is amazing. Waiting for 10.3 update which is coming soon. Looking forward to buy bigger Z30.

          Software:
Blackberry is very weak in marketing and advertising and needs to invest in the same.
Lot of people in my company even do not know that BB 10 exists and how good it is until I show them.
People still think BB means OS7 and older looks. When I show them Z10 they say is it Blackberry? They are really impressed with the phone and BB10 OS

Advertise and let people know that 80% of the Android apps work after 10.2.1 update and after installing
Snap or Amazon store. Snap is very easy to install, even kid can do it.
          Snap = Google Play

          Hardware:
Some people are worried to buy on specs as BBZ10 or Z30 do not have quad CPU or same RAM like Samsung phones.
But try to understand that BB10 on QNX do no not require beefed up hardware to work smooth.
Hardware war is only between Androids. Apple phones are still on dual core but still selling in millions.

BB10 Dual Core on QNX technology = Android Quad Core

Try new Blackberry, you will never regret.

They need to bring back the Unlimited internet and downloads back to Emerging markets like South Africa where data charges are the highest in the world and they will win back lots of their former customers, that coupled with cheaper versions of the BB10 OS its a win win!

If you are not obsessed with apps it is arguably one of the most efficient devices on the market. Clearly, though, Android has economies of scale that other OSs have to bear in mind.

Getting their costs down for new devices is a key to making a comeback. The hardware and OS is fine.

BlackBerry should release cheap BB10 phones in emerging markets with specs as Nokia Lumia 520. It might help the company gain market share.

I doubt i ever go back to android.

Apps is no problem as well, BB World has enough to cover most users, for the rest there is very good support for android apps and one can even install Amazon Appstore, having a BB10 phone is like having the advantages of android without any of the disadvantages. BB10 is a double win after the 10.2 update, more people will eventually realize how good it is and then BB will be profitable by 2016
