I bought Nokia Lumia 520 low end device for test windows phone 8! And really I am happy with it ! Now I plan to buy Nokia Lumia 630 for big screen and 1gb ram !
I has been used Android it is good ! But not better !
I get two updates I Lumia 520 amber & black and I know Nokia & Microsoft give us more !
I used Samsung galaxy s plus! Still stuck in 2.3.6 ! And no update. !

Only 1020 takes shot time to max of 4 seconds. That is 3.something approximately. The 920 and 520 takes no more than 1 second between shot to shot. Your phone must be having some serious issues. Pay a visit to a Nokia center and stop trolling around here.
By the way, I don't know where you came up with such illogical assumptions. I have never said Windows Phone is almighty blah blah! Don't assume much. Windows Phone is not buggier but you restricted and that will be almost gone with Windows Phone 8.1 as promised. Windows Phone is an Operating system and is not hiccups free. You answered your own assumptions. Thank you.

Lumia 520 was released with the same cost as 510. Alright, lets play by that fact. S4 was launched as the same price as S5 is today. What is the big deal? Today's tech is good for day but will be obsolete for tomorrow. Therefore, if today's price for a cell phone is consider a 100 bucks, its predecessor will have the same price. Ever heard of common sense?
Oh look! The same old Kris with the same old argument. Windows Phone 7 can't upgrade to Windows Phone 8 due to kernel issues. I believe you also know that and you should have matured over it by know but oh noes... Every Windows Phone 8 device will be upgradable to Windows Phone 8.1

I would buy a windows phone when they give a choice of keyboard for messaging. Its strictly limited to only qwerty key pad. I personally like there phones but prefer / need the alpha numeric key pad as not everyone wants individual little letters. Surely these nice devices should have the choice, I mean it has the pad there for phone calls so why not for messages.

Lumia 520 released in April 2013, at the same cost as it predecessor, Lumia 510. INR 11000. Which was released in July -august 2012, and was released with Windows phone 7.5 and never upgraded to 8.0.

i have bought my lumia for 11,000, around $220 in 2012, and guess what, its 2014 and im still getting an update. in wp, you dont have to buy a phone yearly to keep up with the update.

I have a 1020 by the way and the shot-to-shot delay is annoying but when I consider myself having the best smartphone camera in my hands, I just accept it and live with it happily. I am now even used to it that I don't even get bothered but these Android fanboys. Man, you can't do anything to make them believe the fluidity of Windows Phone.

so i in not sure what is droid is on . Lag is different thing altogether. Android will never be 100% satisfactory. Get over it. What's at the top can only come down.

So what part of Android are they NOT copying - cause the lag I just experienced opening the camera on the 1020 beats anything on Touch wiz.
