I think if Xiaomi is serious about selling phones, they should aim to sell as many as possible instead of resorting to this crappy "xxx phones sold out in xxx minutes" publicity stunt. In Singapore, they brought in an absurdly low number like 1000 phones to be sold out in 6 minutes. The phones are nothing great; low cost Mediatek processor; no 4G; low price; it is this "sold out" publicity stuff that is making headlines.

People in my country order Xiaomi Mi-3 from abroad (not available in Europe) and only say the best about it. Everyone is impressed with quality for the cash.

A removable battery is something I consider a must for a phone, but if it is this cheap, I guess I could let that slide.
The main matter would then be if it allows custom ROMs.

actualy in china worker get paid for work , not for union & they are hard worker too .. that's why most of the electornic product are made in china, quality depends on costing

MIUI rocks in visuals and stability from the ROM's I've tested on my devices. You should give it a try!

am using the xiaomi hongmi for some time and liked it. price is really affordable for a quad core phone...but i should have bought this new redmi note coz price difference is small...

Superb phone at a very cheap price!! Xioami make it international. Globally. 6 times lower than an iphone, with better hardware...jajaja Android rocks!
