Moto G is absolutely amazing. But I would still prefer Nokia Lumia 520 for a little cheaper, IMHO.

So spec wise it leaves the Samsung in the dust. And yes you are right it is a awesome phone. Currently the best bang for the buck as far as smartphones go.

The Moto G is a fantastic wish more Motorola would come to the UK, would love the Moto X 32gb but silly moto goes not like making money so only released the low 16gb version.

          Recommended to ALL!

Please do not consider it as a "budget friendly" unit!

It really is a masterpiece of engineering!

Many thanks to Google & Motorola.

Yeah, I'd expect the Moto G to have better hardware, as it's the more expensive device.

If Motorola gave us more of a range in the UK, then maybe they would already a larger market share. We never got half of the droids that were sold in the US.

No doubt about it that the Moto G is one of the best phones ever, in terms of price and quality.

AnonD-1846, 01 Apr 2014So why did you even talk about Nokia here? What a dumb question.
Other comments compared it to the Lumia 520.
I simply posted the GSMArena comparison of the 2 spec sheets side by side to show they don't really compare, the Moto G is a class above.
I said I didn't know what the costs were (meaning, in your country).

Someone else says Nokia is much cheaper.

I say fine, I didn't bring Nokia up anyway, was just providing the figures.

Then you say "Oh yeah, well why did you even talk about them?".

                  Am I missing something here?

                        Switched from SGSi9000 to Moto G 16Gb.

It's blazing fast in every task, scored 9021 points in Quadrant and 17035 points in Antutu.
Epic Citadel 58.6 FPS at 1200x720 pixel resolution.

The phone only costs 200 EURO.

Signal strenght and battery life are great, on par with NOKIA phones and much better than other competitors.

Compared with Lumia 520/525, Moto G offers: better and bigger screen, camera led flash, led indicator on front panel, better sound quality, secondary camera for video calls, better CPU, better battery and the most important - looks and fills as much more premium device. In fact in terms of feel and look Moto G might compete even with some previuos generation flagships. Lumia 520/525 has only one advantage over Moto G - SD card support. Everything else goes for Moto G.

Almost no one can go wrong with Moto G. This very inexpensive phone offers so much for its price. Good battery, good screen, good built quality, reasonable size, FM radio (unlike many flagships), fast interface with no lags etc. The only thing I would complain is an average camera, but if don't really need the best camera on your smartphone, Moto G can do the rest of work.

Can you give us the rest of the UK figures GSMArena?

I also wish Motorola would bring more of its products to the UK as a priority as I've always liked them. Always felt that we've missed out on a lot of good keyboard slider phones (though they now neglect that category globally).
