Although I fear that some older ones like Butterfly are already forgotten or will take a while to get one last update.

king, 05 Apr 2014what is meant by antu tuAntutu is a benchmark test used mainly on Android phones but I believe it also works on some Windows Phone and iOS devices. It tests your phone in a number of areas and provides an overall score, with the best-performing devices (all Androids, I believe) in the mid to high 35,000s and last year's dominant Androids scoring around 26,000.

Anonymous, 04 Apr 2014seems like a decent plan B in case costumers ditch M8 duo t... moreYa, the HTC M8 is just meh. The camera hasn't improved, the bezel at the bottom is horrendous, the lack of OIS too. I was gonna wait for the M9 but with the Butterfly S 2, I hope it has support for the US bands or I'm stuck waiting for the M9 or the LG G3 or even MOTO X2.

I cant help but think this is too premature and too confusing for the market place to have to many similar releases too close. You just brought out the new one (M8)so it makes no sense to me why you bring something of almost the same calibre.

Looking forward to the One mini. Hopefully no bigger than 130mm good ram and specs, you know the drill. Last years mini comes up low in bench marks. Possibly this new mini device could be the upgrade to make the switch from your previous and one of the sexiest devices Black One S with the S4 chip. Ahead of its time at the time and slim.

alexv, 05 Apr 2014i don't get why htc's true flagship is always the butterfly... moreButterfly is NOT the flagship. It has sold very well in Asia but it's an Asia exclusive which is ridiculous because it doesn't get the global treatment it really should. Verizon butchered it with the Droid DNA.

Heck, HTC is still focused on the One series while Butterfly s, a newer device, is updated slower. The 4.4 update rolled out in March in HK and Malaysia, but not all other devices have the update yet. (ironically, the Taiwanese 3G version)

Anonymous, 04 Apr 2014Ultra pixels are far from crap! It's a great idea and the ... moreI agree the Ultrapixel is not as bad as how others are saying it is, and you only need 2.1 MP to take 1080p video. But why can't you increase resolution AND low-light picture quality? A few years ago, Nikon did the same thing HTC did, sticking to 12 megapixels while Canon went for 18MP or higher. Eventually Nikon used a Sony 36MP sensor... The image quality is subjective but at first DxOLabs considered the 21MP 5D MKIII a disappointment while the D800's 36MP one of the best. I know megapixels are not EVERYTHING, but it would be better to stick to an 8 megapixel camera at least and refine the quality on that.

Sidenote - they shouldn't forget about the Butterfly s or Butterfly yet. I would be very disappointed if HTC One gets the next Android version and Butterfly s does not. So far, Taiwan 3G version of Butterfly s is still on 4.3 while the 4.4 update is rolling out in Hong Kong and Malaysia already... Perhaps that's a good thing as there are some bugs with the 4.4 update and they're holding it back.
