Considering the fact this is an expensive device for an elite customer base. I think it's as ugly as hell.

The reason this perpetual power reserve doesn't exist in Samsung and other flagship phones is because it would make the device way too expensive. Nothing wrong with the technology itself - it's just that people wouldn't buy it.

If this idea works, I believe the major makers especially Sammy have already included it in their Galaxy smartphone.

So far it only works for calculator, nothing beyond that.

I bet this Tag's phone still need a conventional charger!

From panel like this one you can have today without any problem about 1,5-2 volts and about 0,1-0,3 A,more than enough for this phone. There is voltage inverter inside too.

with solar or light receptors used in charging.

To all with negative feedback: Don't you remember why classic cars are almost priceless? This phone is not really for phone users. It is intended for billionaires who prefer uniqueness and vanity that's why there would only be 1900+ units available. Now if you think that only idiots will buy this phone, tell me if there is one idiot billionaire.

  • AnonD-59657

If you understand the physic of the natural science, the energy of natural and artificial light is too weak to be harvested by just a small photovoltaic solar panel on this phone.

According to the law of conservation of energy states that the total energy of an isolated system cannot change—it is said to be conserved over time. Energy can be neither created nor destroyed.

So Tag Heuer breaks the the law of conservation of energy???????

Regardless, this seems like a pretty good idea and I hope to see it in new phones
