Bye bye forever Nokia, I used to love your handsets with their superior built quality, a true multitasking OS, superior camer, but you crapped them up with crappy processor and RAM alongwith shitty screen resolutions. I stick with you till the last Belle update and moved on. I am a happy Android user now, will never buy Nokia phones again...ever.

The Nokia products today are different from the Nokia products that earned many users' respect and loyalty. The authentic look and feel of Nokia is gone (Symbian). It doesn't make sense for old Nokia users to stick with it and not consider Android or iOS. Today's Nokia-Microsoft phone is really a new Microsoft phone stamped with the Nokia badge. For any Nokia user, it's no different having to learn to like and use any new phone.

Considering how MS got Nokia I would bet money they won't!

Nokia hasn't been accused of unfair practices before...but Microsoft on the other hand would be a different story. I'm mostly referring to their Xbox one of course, and then their prices of their Operating System and Microsoft office is somewhat on the high side. If this deal did go down, would Microsoft really hold Nokia's history of fair practices?

With China giving the green light the other couple countries that are still to agree should should find it easier to approve the merging too. I'm looking forward to the Windows Phone devices that come from this. Now with Windows Phone OS being released for free to OEMS and the recent partner list of new WP devices now well over a dozen it should make for a very interesting time.

Especially when you consider Android makers will be paying for patent licences to MS but will be able to put WP OS on devices for no cost. And with the massive update of 8.1 shortly this should make WP a stronger choice.

                Nokia,,,,,, Don't do it !

Fed up. Honestly why bother. Many other manufacturers are doing WP now and more will do so, so why Nokia tie yourself up in knots. If you just ran both WP and Android you could have both bites at the pie.

AnonD-217769, 08 Apr 2014why nokia, why?Becasue Nokia hired Flop from MS initially, who was clearly only sent in by MS to destroy Nokia so MS could then take them over on the cheap, which is precisely what has happened.

there should be universal patent price according to types of patents.
