Amazon sells HTC One M8 for $150 on Sprint and Verizon

Amazon is selling the HTC One M8 for $150 with a two year contract on the Sprint or Verizon network.

The M8 will be available in SA - Vodacom & CellC confirmed they will have it. HTC also confirmed SA as one of the markets it will be available in.

Its just a matter of when...

    Just a small hint for HTC:
    Start focusing on project Ara... NOW!
    Because your business isn't doing great and this just might save you.
    You have the know-how at your fingertips (minimal risk) and you can catch your competitors with their pants down. :)
    This way you can do the same you did years ago (HTC Dream) and get on the old glory.

      Unfortunately, the One (M8) will still fail to bring HTC the numbers they wish for partly due to choosing only certain markets. There isn't a single carrier here in South Africa that is selling this phone. The previous One (M7) was sold by one carrier on a single expensive deal, even that happened months later after release.

      Meanwhile companies like Samsung, Sony, Apple, Nokia, Huwaei, ZTE are selling their devices here, you just go and choose.

      So it is not always Samsung's marketing that is selling their devices, but also making sure people can see you device. Otherwise how can they buy it if it's not there.

      By the way, the great thing about the phone is the metal build, so people should stop insulting other devices like the Galaxy S5 and the iPhone 5s just because they sell more. If I want a fast light and tiny screened phone to fit in my hand then the iPhone 5S is there, if I want a fast light but larger screened phone then the galaxy S5 is there.

      After all I'm going to buy a cover for all of them and hide what they are. Why? Simple, I want to be able to sell them later, they have to look great when I do that. No one is going to buy a heavily scratched device just because it is metal (at least not for a good price).

      So insulting other devices is just plain stupid. Imagine if we only had Apple's iPhone. Does anyone think it would be as good as it is now if there was no competition? I think not, nothing would push them to invest in newer technologies after all it costs them money to do so.

      Think HTC would be making the amazing One if they had no competition, no ways they would give us the cheapest thing they can. They are doing all this because they messed up before (remember they were the guys to look up to a few years ago). They are now the under dog, so of cause they have to pull out all the resources to attract the buyer otherwise they sink.

      Even Samsung is doing a lot to deliver a different device to boost their sales. Everyone must remember how you were claiming they are copy cats. Now they created their own design language and they are sticking to it, suddenly you think they are not doing much (what do you exactly want?). Everyone also complains about their advertising, what the hell. You get in retail business you have to advertise, don't blame them if their strategy is working. HTC has got Ironman.

            can anybody tell me ?
            And thoose companies ? were are them ? are they a communicate company ? does it offer internet (3g and 4g) ?

S5 crap or iPhone 5s cost the same and they are yes SOOOO overpriced devices for what brings, only marketing.. I´m a proud owner of a Nexus 5, but I dont compare it with One M8.
