Absolute rubbish. Total crap. A t-mobile spokesperson said HA LAUGHABLE a t-mobile spokesperson one told me my bill was so high because I had dialled 999 I?n my pocket a lot.
T-mobile spokespeople should be hanged. Or trained not to lie

They are lying to every g1 custome that heads their way and it is really begginging to piss me off. Its now the 26th of april. So let's see. Has anyone got this mythical update !?

Helo everyone, in case you was wondering about the fact that the handset comes loccked to t-mobile network, i have good and bad news, it can be unlocked but it may affect cupcake update a bit like what used to happen with the iphone, however like the iphone you ca get hold for quite cheap from ebay a turbosim, this will work 100% in the G1 and supports HSDPA as i am actually using one with no problem on Vodafone, and get the full 7.2Mb/s. so there u have it it works with a turbosim

I totally agree. Android and G1 are the most underrated OS/device I have seen. Symbian is no match for the tree OS you mention.

Symbian is very far since all of those updates are available in symbian phones. It is difficult for android to overcome symbian.

Erick, 12 Mar 2009I find it absolutely unbelievable that people would tolerat... moreActually, most phone manufacturers do this. They just don't announce it. Apple has been continually adding features and big fixes to the iPhone's OS and that's ok?

Nokia's been doing it for years and not many people complain, in fact they fall over themselves praising them.

I find it absolutely unbelievable that people would tolerate a situation in an industry such as this where a product is launched whilst clearly using early customers as guinea pigs to test it before relaunching it with bug fixes, etc. And to add insult to this the price tag remains a joke. Customers should expect better than this in 2009.

turks , 12 Mar 2009so this is basically going to be the Magic, with a hardware... moreYeah, pretty much, but the Magic is a bit thinner and also looks nicer (a bit more rounded, chin sticks out slightly less).
And ofcourse, it's on Vodafone, which in my case is very good, since T-Mobile has crap coverage where I live.
