Stondec100, 13 Apr 2014This is really interesting, despite the large scale hatred ... moreI would have bought the HTC flagship phone, but after they started imitating Apple hype with their metal back covers, and blabbing about the looks of the phone and not the specs, not to mention putting in a locked down battery, I decided that HTC was just, well, crap and have never looked back.
If Apple began producing modern smart phones not those retro locked down coffin phones of theirs, I would consider them especially since Mr Cook, unlike the con-artist Steve Jobs, is a really great man.

I'll still take the LG G2 or the HTC ONE M8 both are better phones and even better I'll wait for the LG G3 with QHD screen and SIM card Samsung phones all look alike for the past 4 years why don't they try and make something that looks a little different every year! Samsung and Apple the two worst phones on the market and the sheep come every year to buy them just cause everybody else does quantity does not equal quality! FACT!

That is why seniors have taken to it so readily. My problems is seeing presumably cool people carrying the iPhone and thinking they are, laugh, cutting edge.

Got my S5 yesterday and it's a fantastic smartphone. stunning screen and great build quality.
It looks a lot better in real than on pictures.

Do you think HTC one(M8)is bad at all from any point of view? its just that HTC is unable to promote its product like samsung. They don't have the marketing tactics like samsung. Android needs to be optimized like Windows and IOS so that smooth people will get user experience.

Very excited to get the S5. Love the plastic cover and the grip. The hardware is amazing. Can't imagine a metal back cover.

Why is everyone except apple using quad core processors when infact a good dual core processor is equally powerful enough for a phone. iPhone 5s is as fast in the graphics department and most of the times more powerful than the S5. And the 1560 mah is good enough for powering a super powerful Dual core processor and the finger print sensor. Are samsung living in the 20th century by giving a swipe type fingerprint sensor (which actually doesnt work & the Touch iD is far superior)And that also after apple introduced it with 5S. So temme why would any1 want to buy the S5 when you get a way advanced & better phones fron other manufacturers like HtC & Sony. Samsung is just a big copy cat company that has no innovative ideas of its own. It is proved by the way they design the phone. All galaxy devices aftr S2 look the same. It needs to stop copying apple and start innovating their own designs & features.
