tyler, 14 Apr 2014There are no carrier locked Nexus devices, they are all UNL... moreNot in UK if I buy it from any UK network on contract they are locked to that network,,its still pure Vanilla but you cannot use it on other networks till its unlocked...All other countries may differ but this is true in UK.

kamikazi, 14 Apr 2014I didn't notice any problems on my nexus 4 whit 4.4.2!I know a lot of people experienced the camera bug (especially Skype users). The only thing I've noticed is that my signal will drop completely every now and then making me unreachable: I had put it down to an ill-fitting cut-down sim but if it's a possible software bug I'll wait to see if this update fixes it before ordering a new one.

kamikazi, 14 Apr 2014I didn't notice any problems on my nexus 4 whit 4.4.2!Same here. I feel like I use my N5 quite a bit. I start using it at about 5:00 am, and go as far as 11:00 pm, and have yet to suffer any problems because of battery life.
I use the camera some, but not being a professional photographer probably don't have enough knowledge to complain about picture quality.
I do have a problem with MMS, but I understand from the forums that mine is a carrier problem, rather than a phone issue. I guess we'll see.

It does seem that these Playstore editions are not pure they do contain some elements of the original device like camera code

They posted the release of 4.4.1 and 4.4.2 before Google said it was rolling out as well and it started going out later that day. Sprint has no control of sending out the update, it comes from Google just like the rest of the Nexus 5 phones.
