Maby it the simplicity of the iphone, and for the 2mp camera, if you knew anything its not the mp its the lens, n the focus on the phone , once you get above 2mp it doesnt matter u wont c any difference unless you are blowing up the photo the size of a large box, besides this is not a premium phone its only $749, nokia sell there lame phones for up to $1400 for what, something thats going to fail in 8 months due to softwear or batter issues!

I think this upgrade is excellent and now makes the iphone better than anyone else. Who cares about 2 or 3mp camera. Anyone with half a brain knows to get good photos you need a camera and phone camera is only for emergency. But their push mail beats Blackberry (if you know how to use it like I do). Their Ipod beats any mp3 built in players and their video is good enough to watch TV shows. Thats what matters,

M3gi is correct in every aspect. The iPhones been around for 2 years. Same phone, mostly same features. Other companies have came out with many numbers of different phones, and yet, iPhone gets the most buzz of them all. Why is that? A 2 year old phone...

Specs on paper is useless if it's not implemented smoothly. And that is what many other phones have. Great specs, but when you use it, it's just not as expected.

I think it is a great phone .
You can do a lot of stuffs with this phone , things that can't be done with other phone , even it is nokia, blackbery or whatever . This new sdk offers a lot off new stuffs . On apple store there are a lot off applications that can prove you this .
I think the camera it's ok . If you want to take pictures at a higher resolution , buy a camera . 2 MP are enough . Also the iphone 3g was released last year . Nothing changed until now .
I thing it is great phone .

Ok! Lets sum it up! Here are the facts:

                          - iPhone was released two and a half years ago. It sold since about 17 million devices. In that period they made over 25000 aps for it. And the trend is growing fast.
                          - Nokia admitted that if there would not been the iPhone they would never build the 5800 touch screen phone. Even this way they released their first touch screen phone two years after the iPhone. Even with two years behind, the 5800 is far worse than the iPhone. It is so bad, that it has been withdrawn from sales in the US. The Symbian UI created in panic is officially the worst touch UI ever. Because it is not compatible with the previous releases of Symbian it means that all the developers working with Symbian are stabbed at their back. Because of this the 5800 only has a few Aps for its users.

Now what do we see? We see that Nokia fans hate the iPhone! They don’t realize, even when Nokia is telling them, that if there would be no iPhone they would still be producing regular phones like the N86 is going to be. Everybody knows that Nokia`s last quality product was the N95. From than they make the same technology over and over again. Not to mention that the quality of their devices are extremely low these days.
Their future phones, if ever released, are far behind the competition even today. Samsung is taking the first place by storm.
I have no doubt that Nokia will improve. And we can thank for that to the iPhone and to Samsung as well. But one thing is for sure – the touch screen market is lost for them. iPhone is and will be the dominant device there. That is in the developed world where people can afford it.

You have to understand something. There are very few people who buy phones buy the specs sheet. These few people are the minority, the fans of technology and the sheep fanboys. In reality most of the people buy phones buy the way it looks, how user-friendly and simple it is and what practical uses it has. Today, if somebody really likes to take pictures, than he uses his digital camera not his phone. Phone is just an occasional replacement for the digital camera. If somebody drives a lot than he buys a Garmin or TomTom. Phones are still slow and to much hassle to use for everyday navigation. Of course it is good feature if the phone has GPS navigation, it can help sometimes, but is not comparable with Garmin or TomTom.

This is why the iPhone is a huge success. It is not a phone like any other Nokia which comes and after six months disappears on the masses of outdated phones. The iPhone is a little personal computer with lots of useful capabilities. It is the device what science fiction writers were writing about in the 30`s. It is like having a little Personal Assistant with you which helps you be more productive or helps you pass time when needed. There is no need to replace because all the time new and useful capabilities are developed for it. When the new version will come out, than everybody will replace it and continue to use all the useful aps what they had on the previous ones. Not like Nokia where your new devices are incompatible with the old ones.
Soon as the infrastructure has been developed the iPhone will support video calling. And that is when people will actually start using the video call! Today many Nokia`s have video calling future, but I have never ever seem anybody using it because the quality is just horrible! Apple will implement this feature only when they can provide it with excellent quality. And since most of the people will have iPhon`s - it will revolutionize the way we use our phones again.

Samsung will overtake Nokia. iPhone will rule their market. Nokia will be lost somewhere constantly trying to come back, but too many users have been disappointed lately with the endless waiting for unfinished lagging slow devices.

However Nokia will be very popular in undeveloped regions of the world. The reason for this is that those people just can’t afford iPhone`s, digital cameras, TomTom`s and other everyday devices. They will always try to buy something to replace all of these devices. On specs sheets they will succeed. But in reality they are just struggling with them.

                          Good luck….
