Samsung to make a 7-inch smartphone

Why would they wait so long to make, then put out a weak version? If they gone make a phablet, they shud make it right. I'm still gon be searching for a 7 inch that's got sum guts!

As soon as it come out I'm going to purchase one. Hopefully it has a pen to it and the capacity to hold a large external micro sd card.

When I was a child, we used large landline handsets against our ear. When the first cell phone came out, we watched in envy as others talked wirelessly on very expensive airtime. Now, I am 60+ with failing eyesight and shaking fingers ... If you think I'm going to mind having a 7" phablet next to my ear (when not on speaker) plus the convenience of a mobile computer at my fingertips .... you are so mistaken! Lol .... and I'm sure I am not the only baby boomer who feels this way! Come on Verizon ..... get off the stick!!! :)

i would definitely get the mega 7...im with tmobile have a LG L9 phone...and a 7in tablet would require me to add a seperate tiered plan (current promotion is free 1.2gb 4g lte data til the end of 2014)...a 7 inch smartphone with my current unlimited data no throttling @ 70.00/mo would mean no need for additional plan at additional cost. i rarely make outgoing calls and mostly communicate via google voice txting or email. so an all in one smartphone would save me money and my media consumption on a bigger screen would be more enjoyable.

You don't suppose functionality is moving to smartwatches because they have bigger screens do you & while we use the gear they're trying to shove down our throats they expect the phones to have their own carrying cases and bags or rather easen it and have it pocketed.

What is wrong with most of people here? You don't like it? DON'T BUY IT. Everyone has DIFFERENT PREFERENCES for a smartphone. Some like big, some like small, some like tablet-size, some like tiny. You can always bash Samsung for creating a 7-inch smartphone, but when it's Huawei or another manufactuer, you are acting like it's a goddess or whatever.
