You may want to read that again... the specs move up from the previous P6 version and the Honour is a bit slower... not by much but a bit.

This seems perfectly logical since the 1.6Ghz just doesn't cut it for a Cortex A9 in a supposed high end device.
Even on 1.8Ghz, this chipset can't even best the last year's Snapdragon 600 which seems to have a significantly better GPU (Adreno 320> Mali 450).
Hopefully Huawei optimised the device really well in order to run smoothly with that 1080p display

the only thing that is keeping this copycats alive is availability...there are dozens of better phones, chinese ones, who are cheaper and way better but unfortunately you can't find them everywhere...i will laugh at the ones that choose this over one plus one

For those who dont still get it, the P series isnt meant to be high spec phone in terms of chip. So if your wanting that you can go get some huge 6" inch brick of phone from other manufacturers. But if you want a awesome looking and feeling phone, with middle high range chip, and lots of features, and good pricing, then p7 is the phone.

So a SoC that won't even be capable of beating 2012's Snapdragon S4 Pro, DOA.

Huawei need to step it up a bit, considering that their operating system is literally a direct copy of MIUI they should be pretty capable of bringing out a decent flagship phone, the one plus one has quite literally battered the competition and it's running cyanogen mod, this unit costs £269 for a 64GB variant, in what planet would someone choose to buy this P7? If you have hardware which is better than even the Galaxy S5 and HTC M8? It makes no sense at all.
Do yourselves a favour Huawei and make a phone worth having, not a phone you'd want to give to someone you don't like.
