do you really think some extra work is enough on a A9 chip to beat a A15 or 17 which produce 2 times more flops than OLD A9 and could be clocked at very high frequency

1/4 of the people buying a top notch android is because it has certain degree of education, you can notice that in Europe where top level androids have the best market. The other 3/4 didn't know what they were buying... Lol

Who told you its 1920x1080 multiplied by 2? lol thats 4k. You said research before posting, and apparently you did no research. 2k resolution is when horizontally there are 2k pixels. And here are some very common links for you to learn how to research.
