And the iPhone is the best so others should copy it? yeah right. Did you ever see Motorola A1000? What are it's main features? When was it released? How about 2.9 inch touchscreen and 3G back in 2004? And then, years after, here comes iphone and suddenly it is the best there is, forgeting to mantion that it is a crap as a phone. Yes it has great touch screen and the UI is very flashy but that's just about it. Nothing special. And where was the almighty brand then? What was their full touchscreen phone to compete with A1000? Motorola is at least trying to differentiate, to offer a choice. What would the market look like if all phones would be like the iphone? I wouldn't want to live in that kind of world.
The MING family of phones, for those of you who never actually used one, and like to talk like you know it all, is one of most versatile phones out there. And they are BEAUTIFUL up close. The matirials the A1600 is made of are top notch, and just by holding it in hand feels premium.
So this phone should be great when it comes out, I might even replace my own A1600 with this one.

Dont even bother releasing it ! I thought you had gone bust and i refuse to sell any kind of Moto's..................................... I would rather buy a SAGEM!!!!!!

Motorola seems like sleeping in the past.......ok that most of modern phones are copying iPhone but Motorola doesnt seems to care about this modern tecnology.......still makes poor phones with nothig special.I was wondering how many years will Motorola lives.

Here we go again...another news about Motorola and hordes of haters and fanboys will come bashing again. This is getting old people.
If you guys always badmouth Motorola, why not just shut up and worship your own phone companies? Soon, it will rise again. Just you wait.

Why when there are so many really good phones already out or due from Samsung, Nokia and Sony would anybody want a Motorola phone? They are at least 2 years behind the competition and are so unattractive to look at...

This phone design sucks. Motorola lost a lot of market share and is still loosing. Honestly, Samsung and LG got to second and third place by beating Motorola. But these people are not that smart. I think Motorola should start getting some good design and beat the hell out of the competition. USA is much better than Korea in Marketing, product conception, R&D and they deserve 1st place. I am sure Motorola can do it.

Guys..I hv MING 1200..der r alot of probs with dis phone..bad camera n slow ph..if u go nly 4 looks den its vry good n attractive..i think dat 1210 wl also hv same probs..

1. It is targeted for China, no free wi-fi there, no 3g network support.
2. It is damn good PHONE... really, it is a phone and not a camera.
3. Moto's FF camera's are way better than any FF camera phone's in the market. Even their 2mpx FF are better than other brand's 3.2mpx FF. The Zn5 5mpx AF has better quality than the other's 8mpx-12mpx AF cam-phones.
4. If your phone does not have something close to crystaltalk, then your phone is really out-dated.

Unfortunately Motorola after V3i stopped launching good phones. What can a company do if has only one or two 5megapixels cellphones while other companies put the 5MP camera in low-end phones now and in a few moths will use 15MP. Motorola continue to take dig parts of the market only for its old fame.

i used to be a huge Motorola fan when i first bought the e398, it lasted me for good 4 years. then i bought RAZR2 V8, the battery life in that phone is a real disappointment. i switched back to my old nokia n72 and will go for E75 and forget all about Motorola.

I used to like Motorola. Currently own a RAZR2, but they honestly aren't making an attempt to attract customers. The design of this phone is really nice, but that's it. The features are way behind anything the other manufacturers offer. If this wasn't one of their higher end offerings it would be alright, but sadly it is. I hope Motorola starts using the antroid platform soon before they are out of business.

Who came out with the slim flip phone design? Who TRIED to copy but only made one model ever...which totally failed afterall?
Who invented the idea of charging via USB? Who started the use of mini/micro USB plug? (Moto V8 was released back in Q4 2007 with micro-USB plug)
Who JUST STARTED using micro-USB for DATA TRANSFER ONLY (but CANNOT support charging!?) but TRIED to make a big deal by announcing all of its phones (if not promoting to the industry) will use the same micro-USB charger plug?
I just can't understand, when Moto make good PHONE features like Crystal Talk (which already moved to 2nd generation, while most other brands have NOT even started) or charging via USB, people don't seem to apprciate.
However, when the almighty brand says "we'll start using micro-USB plug from now on"...everybody clapped their hands and think that's the best invention ever...

When Moto started to make 3G touchscreen phone back in 2004, where was the almighty brand in terms of 3G touchscreen device?
So after all these years, how many companies offer such PDA phone in such "compact" size like A1200, which from my understanding sold very well in Asia, especially among the ladies who don't like to carry a brick like those N9x or 58xx from the almighty brand...
