The amount of money that they've been making from gullible fools that don't understand that Apple just aren't the innovators that they seem to be means that if they don't bring out the big guns for this release they're going to become a laughing stock. As someone that's in the industry i can say with confidence that more and more people are moving away from apple due to more awareness of devices with higher capabilities.

Prometheus , 03 May 201464bit Architecture processor for what use??? iphone only ha... moreYou don't think Android will introduce 64-bit chips sometime this year? Even Qualcomm was taken back by such an advancement.

64-bit processors are able to access more RAM, but that's not their only benefit - they can grab data in twice as large chunks as their 32-bit counterparts. And as apps are optimized to take advantage of a 64-bit architecture and the other capabilities of the A7, they'll run faster and be capable of doing more.

Apple's future-proofing iOS devices, as they have a history of supporting older devices. Putting 64-bit processors in their flagship devices now will let them continue that trend a few years down the line when 64bit is actually important.

Keep telling yourself it wasn't that big of a tech advancement.

Prometheus , 03 May 201464bit Architecture processor for what use??? iphone only ha... moreBeing able to adress more than 4 Gb of RAM is a feature of 64bit not the purpose. Stop spilling the BS of the guy who said what you said and was fired by its own company for saying that. They also remade their statement saying it was a mistake their spokeperson made. Meanwhile people are enjoying the most advanced mobile chip on the most advanced 64bit OS and you are jealous why it didnt come to Android first. Well dont worry give it a year it will come since. Apple did it other companies will follow.

Please , make the IPHONE 6 , within 130x65x8 !!! If we can get a 4,5 or 4,7 Is something that APPLE will solve , if possible 4,7 but without surpassing the measurments described . Otherwise It will be ONE moré of many in the market !!!

Unless they are planning putting in 5GB of ram in the near future. I don't see 64bit processor serve the purpose here. 64bit processor doesn't make the processing speed faster for any apps created in 32bit. So please stop that "First to offer 64bit Architecture processor in the industry" crap and start to put in something useful instead of useless thing.

Its like wanting the best but not too good, second best is enough because its best, or how was that again?

Self-contradiction, cluelessness, ignorance and hate all in the same comment, how efficient of you =)

I take sapphire glass over useless gimmicks any day (just want to know more about its advantages and disadvantages first, if it is sufficiently shatter proof for example)

"Plastic cover is enough to get rid of scratch and you can change after it gets old."
                - Epic monumental ignorance, well done.

I've read an article about that (i think from gsmarena and from local site). That happens in Europe too. Carriers here sell the iPhone in same prices. And, no we don't have contract here, so we have to pay the phone (unlocked) in full price.
So iPhone's price in Indonesia = apple price + tax.

And can you believe that plastic iphone5c is more expensive than samsung galaxy note 3 here in Indonesia?

You really believe Apple, a US corporation... moreApple actually do dictate how much you pay for their products, well in the UK they do. If companies fail to abide by their pricing they no longer receive stock, simple! Yet again its Apples way or no way. I know all this from working in the retail industry so regardless of where you buy an apple product in the UK it is the same.

Anonymous, 02 May 2014Apple is always covering its inferior technology with just ... more"Old LCD display"

What? Just about every OEM mobile manufacturer still uses a form of LCD. The display on the iPhone 5s is still a very nice display. I see no pixels on it whatsoever. Adding ultra-high resolutions to a 4-5in. display is overkill. Even my 46in. TV has the same res. as my HTC One.

And like the other person said. How is the only mobile manufacturer to offer 64-bit architecture on a mobile considered inferior technology? Again, Apple offers an industry first.

There's a reason why every new high end mobile is still bench-marked against the almost year old iPhone 5s.

Anonymous, 02 May 2014Apple is always covering its inferior technology with just ... moreHow is the most advanced mobile chip in the world inferior ? And AMOLED has seriously bad longevity issues and suffers from burn ins. You dont want dead pixels in 6months owning the phone. AMOLED is a great technology and i love it but its not quite there yet maybe in some close future we can have everything on AMOLED panels that dont have mediocre longivity compared to modern lcds. You can argue that if Apple decides to manufacture a bigger Iphone they should increase the resolution or aspect ratio but more than 300 pixels per inch on a 4inch display is waste of battery, processor energy etc That unless you have glued microscopes in your eyes and you can see pixels in 4k displays.

Apple is always covering its inferior technology with just beautiful dress. Apple should improve screen technology not the cover glass. Gorilla glass is enough to scratch resistant . Apple should leave old lcd display and start to use advanced AMOLED screen not cover. Plastic cover is enough to get rid of scratch and you can change after it gets old.

Umm, screens or glass? Because those are 2 very different things.
For example, a new glass would cost $10, but a screen will be $100. The LCD makes the price difference.
