For the price of the whole thing you can buy a top smart phone and an ultrabook.

Its a great idea. Done well it would really grip a gap in the market. I would consider it for my needs...ie phone day to day. tablet for casual use. laptop for work. However if there is no battery backup no expansion slots. I might as well just buy a generic bluetooth keyboard from ebay.

I own the ORIGINAL PADFONE 1 (1st Generation) and what made me decide to buy it is the extra battery eventhough the weight is its deal breaker.
I was happy with it and would love to see it in the newer models since additional battery docks are necessary for the current power hungry core processors.
If they opt NOT to include it, it would be a huge disadvantage since there are powerbanks out there that serves as both a bluetooth keyboard and a powerbank (device)
