Wouldn't mind the brushed metal look, even if polycarbonate will accommodate the wireless charging I now have with my Verizon G2. Use an Incipio feather case anyway.

Well just because LG doesn't spam the market with lots of ads to convince you that they are the best then doesn't mean they are worst. FYI is doing great. If you are caught inbetween the fame of a company and u caught by the band wagon effect, that's a living proof that u can't decide for your self but the media

The G2 is a very complete Smartphone performing very good at all important features like display, camera, thin bezels, processing speed enz.
When I look to the poor HTC M8 Camera or Sony Z1 foggy display I would prefer a G2 of G3.

The SD card is also very useful, at least until they notice that 64GB and 128GB models should be available for a decent price if you don't include a SD card slot in the phone

There's barely a discernible difference between 720 & 1080. Going up to 2k & 4k resolutions on a mobile device are for ppl who get sucked in numbers. You are a prime example...unless you like to view your mobile under a microscope.

I also thought that S5 was the ugliest phone I've ever seen, until I saw the grey one in person and by the name of all that is holy, it is... well, the back was fine (not ugly, not HTC goodlooking level either) but the screen is gorgeous and since I look at that when I use a phone and I'm not vain, that's good enough for me. So as long as you steer clear of the gold one (I haven't seen one in person yet but it seems genuinely ugly...) S5 is a great phone.

Both technologies are not much useful in current state...there need to be apps to use 64 bit processing...
As a consumer, if i get 4K or 2K at same price as 1080p, its good for me.

OEMs have had them since start of the year and launch is expected this first half of the year. NO news or anything about delay and definitely not cancelation of it.
