Not big surprise :)Its high purity glass, Swarovskis expertise is precision grinding, thats what makes Swaorovski binoculars and rifle scopes so great, during the 1990ies they overtook Carl Zeiss in optics quality. The first few years the discussions went high and opinions were divided but eventually Swarovski came out on top, especially in rifle scopes they were far ahead of Carl Zeiss, edge distortion was the most obvious difference, Swarovski perfected it.
These guys really know how to grind glass, no doubt, but doesnt help for the S5 and gear, a pig with makeup is still a pig.
