trevor, 01 Apr 2009N96 is better than iphone, check the features...Aristotle once said "The whole is more then the some of its parts" and while the N96 does have some nice "parts" the iPhone is more then its 2meg cam and its lack MMS, cut and past (both are comming in 3.0) etc. It is the 1 product i have never regreted buying, not for 1 moment and everyday i think "wow what a great phone". it might not do some things but what it does do, it does great.

trevor, 01 Apr 2009N96 is better than iphone, check the features...One thing that stupid Nokia fanboys don’t understand – It does not matter what specs you have on paper! What matters is the user experience; how it feels to use it, how flawlessly a phone works, the quality of the whole handset and in this iPhone is way before any Nokia.

Nokia makes good phones only on paper, when you actually see them and try them… you see that is all just the same old cheap plastic like any other Nokia phone (except the 6300).

Tell me something Nokia lovers – can you show me a Nokia phone for which the crowd is excited even after two year? And for what you get regular free updates? You can’t cant you? Nokia makes phones to sell and forget. And stupid fanboys buy them.

trevor, 01 Apr 2009N96 is better than iphone, check the features...It'd be handy if you could hear the N96 ring, for some reason they seem to lose all the ring volume so the the only way to hear it is to put your ear right next to the speaker, not to mention it's a laggy POS and you can't hotswap the SIM.

Fring has been available on the iPhone for months, the call quality is nowhere near Skype.

Skype is one of the applications that should benefit from the iPhone OS 3 update in a few months.

Anonymous, 01 Apr 2009I cant pass an opportunity to bash the iphone .... Skype... moreLet's see you hotswap your SIM on your POS Nokia with it's dying Symbian that is already past it's use by date.

The present iPhone's are only the beginning wait until developers start taking advantage of the iPhones hardware and software to control plug in devices via the 30 pin dock adapter, what will be achieved over the next few years will blow you away.

Skype ? Everyone and their mom have been using fring for the longest time. Heck, skype was available for n80 and a few other nokia sets in 2006 [but it wasn't great].

Anonymous, 01 Apr 2009nice. it works with ipod huh? and where are you speaking to... moreYou need to get iPhone headphones with a built in mic, or one of the many aftermarket alternatives if you want to use it with an iPod touch second generation.

When OS 3.0 is released and Bluetooth is activated on the touch you might be able to use a Bluetooth headset.

I have emoji, they are better than smileys and they work with Skype, only iPhones can see them.

An app called Typing Genius has an Easter egg which enables it in the Japanese International keyboards, you switch it on and the normal keyboard has a little world key to swich between keyboards, it's $0.99 from App store.

You get a keyboard with 144 emoji icons and need iPhone OS 2.2 or higher to see them.

Scype has been long time a go possible to install on most nokia phones, but we don't like it, because they give nothing gratis to try to call international, and even they promise promotions to bring friends to scype for their offers, they cheat on you, I don't like scype, it's junk software!

There is an update to Cydia that enables Skype on jailbroken phone.
                                      just update your Cydia.

i think apple falls in the mobile market, others making more HI-TECH and apple still introducing its OLD fasion handsets,
wake up Apple, u need to do more more more than it if u wanna keep in the track, at least to keep ur position as number LAST :-(((
