Tell ur friend, try his phone to update into custom rom any 4.4.2 and i am surely 100% smooth fast and stable when they flash it. I am also used a galaxy s3 international version and running a 4.4.2 kitkat ( temasek )custom rom.

I think 13MP camera is a Joke if its meant to actually compete with Galaxy S5. Every other thing is very much OK esp the removable battery and the display.

My point is that the 801 is not up to the job LG are expecting of it. If you look on Anandtech's website, he has just done an initial test of the 805 chip and more specifically the Adreno 420 it includes.
Anandtech has found that the 420 can achieve the same frame rates at qHD resolution as the 330 can at 1080p, so what kind of numbers to you think the G3 is going to manage????
Anyway you cut it LG are producing an underpowered phone and they are doing it just for the bragging rights of being 'first to market' with QHD.
The last time they tried this they wanted to be first with a multi core device and came out with the Optimus 2X, a rush job if ever I saw.

If that worries you then you should buy one evrytime a phone comes out with a new spec.or just enjoy what you have. Theres more to life than having the latest top model phone. Btw im looking forward to see ther review on this g3 phone.
